Jeremy is a Toronto-based photographer, video artist, and designer whose work spans film, live performance, and installation. His practice emphasizes the intersection of movement, media, and environment, often collaborating with choreographers, theatre-makers, and cultural institutions to create visually driven, emotionally resonant experiences.
Recently, Jeremy collaborated with the interdisciplinary performance collective bluemouth inc. on The Game of Life, an immersive, participatory work that blends performance, game mechanics, and spatial storytelling. His video design for the project incorporated live and pre-recorded media in response to both performer actions and audience engagement, reinforcing his commitment to dynamic, real-time visual systems in performance contexts.
He also served as projection designer for Loss, a multimedia theatre production that premiered at The Apollo Stages at the Victoria Theater in Harlem. The work combined the spoken word, video, and an original sound score to examine themes of memory and collective grief. Jeremy’s projections played a central role in shaping the visual and emotional landscape of the piece, demonstrating his approach to immersive, spatially aware storytelling in high-calibre theatrical contexts.
He is especially interested in projects that blur the lines between live performance and media, invite close creative collaboration, and experiment with new ways of telling stories through movement, image, and space. Jeremy’s work has been presented across Canada and internationally, including at dance festivals, theatres, and contemporary art spaces.
